Hunter: As part of his sharing Hunter had to show a photo of him at a playground - we met up with my sister and her kids at the school near their house. Hunter enjoyed climbing!

Savannah: Having cuddles on the couch with baby Anne. We had been to the markets and got a new dress for baby Anne.

Hunter: After attempting many sports which just haven't been "his thing", Hunter has started in Scouts. He is in the Joeys. In his 5th week he had his Investiture Ceremony. We now have a uniform and badges to sew on.

Savannah: She is big enough to make her own breakfast and choose her own clothes!

Hunter: Even though he is nearly 7 it's still fun to make a mess with dinner!

I struggled with choosing photos this week - we 4 days in Sydney (I had 2 days for work and the family came along for a little holiday) so have lots of photos! I've gone with 2 each!

Hunter: First photo - Taronga Zoo - Hunter kept climbing on the statues and asking me to take his photo!
Second photo - Hunter bought monkey at the Zoo and took him everywhere. He asked me to take his photo on our last day at breakfast.

Savannah: First photo - on the ferry to the zoo - excited about being on the ferry and what we will see at the zoo

Second photo - Madam Tussand's wax museum - I asked Savannah to stand next to Nelson Mandela and was surprised when she held his hand. The woman who worked there was surprised too - she said most kids were scared!

Hunter: Hunter's school had been preparing all term for the end of term dance concert. This year his class danced to It's a Party. He had to perform 3 times on the one day but had a ball!!

Savannah: Parent watching week at ballet. I really enjoyed watching my ballerina dance around! She loves ballet and is looking forward to the end of year concert!!

Hunter: An impromptu visit to Melba's chocolate factory. After we bought our goodies we had a look at the old chocolate mixing machine. Hunter is getting up close and personal to see how it works.

Savannah: They then went for a climb up the rocks. Savannah stopped so I could take her photo.

Hunter: My nephew wanted to take his big cousin Hunter to the park near his kindy so they could climb the tree together. Hunter had a great time with the big old tree - climbing and using as a super hero house!

Savannah: Savannah wanted to join in with the boys too but found it a bit tricky - she wasn't wearing tree climbing clothes or shoes (we had been to the movies first).

This week rather than individual photos I've gone for the group shot! It was Poppy's 70th birthday so we tried to get a photo of all of his grandkids. The photos below show our attempt to get all the kids together. Hunter was making it a little interesting. Sannah was just happy to be with her 'big' cousins!

Hunter: Bedtime is a battle every single night but I love him to death when he is finally asleep. This photo was taken at about 11pm!

Savannah: Blowing bubbles at a friend's house. Savannah was excited to finally get some bubbles.

Hunter and Savannah: Saturday afternoon. Lazy day. Cold, wet day. The kids decided it would be fun to make some mud in the backyard.

Hunter: I had bought him a new beanie on my weekend away in Melbourne. He thought it would be cheeky to cover his eyes when I tried to take a photo! He would have them uncovered right until I pressed the button then he would cover them. I tricked him and got one with his eyes - he wasn't happy when he saw it!!

Savannah: Showing off her new goodies from my Melbourne trip. Peppa Pig beanie and a fairy garland. When I told her the ribbon were supposed to go at the back she said "no, I like being a jellyfish!!"

Hunter: I heard about a Music in the park festival so we decided to head down not knowing what would be on. They had a free BBQ, music and face painting. Hunter asked to be a Monster!

Savannah: After the park Hunter asked to go to the Skate Park. We all had so much fun. Savannah was excited to be up the top of the ramp and slide down.

Hunter: I treated the kids to a bear each at Buildabear Workshop. Hunter made one with a roar sound that smells like strawberry and was dressed as Iron Man who he named Iron Man. He loves Iron Man and has slept with him every night since he came home.

Savannah: I was putting on make up one night to go out - Savannah decided she would put some on herself too. She wa pleased as punch at how hers turned out!

Hunter: We had a quick trip to the aquatics centre and they had a treat afterwards - Hunter choose a lolly that had blue colouring!

Savannah: All ready for her first day of kindy! She is growing up so fast.
