The
idea of a reverse bucket list: a list of all the awesome things you have
already done, is fantastic. It makes you really appreciate your life and the
things you have done. But I found this hard. Firstly thinking I've done
nothing, then when thinking about, actually I've done heaps, but what is worthy
of being included? So I've had a crack.
Travelled
overseas. I have been to:

Travelling always includes awesome
experiences, some of mine include:

- eating frogs legs
- eating traditional NZ Hangi
- dolphin cruise

Travelled within Australia. I've been to every state except for Northern Territory and
have had many Australian adventures. A few memorable ones include:
- Snow skiied
- Held a Tasmanian Devil
- Travelled on an overnight boat (Melbourne - Tasmania)
- Ran up the steps of the Opera House - touched it!

I have serious envy reading these lists. You've done some great travelling.
ReplyDeleteThanks Claire. Travelling is so much fun.
DeleteThat's great Bec, you've done lots of awesome things! This is a fantastic idea. Will be joining in if/when I get time today!
ReplyDeleteThanks Aroha, certainly made me appreciate some of the things I had done when I really thought about them!
DeleteSuch a busy person you must be: all those things ticked off! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lisa. I've got more travelling planned - we want to show the kids places!
Deletecool, you've given me some inspiration. xxx Rae
ReplyDeleteThanks Rae
DeleteGreat list, you have lots to celebrate! I love that you completed the C25K...I've started that a few times and hope to finish it someday!
ReplyDeleteThanks Beth, I felt great when I finished the C25K. I can now run 5km quite easily - but anything longer is a struggle.
DeleteI am a massive musical buff and am so jealous of you seeing Phantom of the Opera LOVE it
ReplyDeleteI saw that when I was about 18 I think with my parents. It was a great show!
DeleteI love the reverse bucket list idea! You've done so much! I dream about seeing Les Miserables on stage! It's my favourite musical x
ReplyDeleteThanks Elisa, Les Miserables I saw when I was about 14. I didn't understand a thing haha. But I recently saw the movie and loved it so I think I would understand the muscial if it came out again.
DeleteLove your list - you have done so much and i like that it extends far beyond the travel - that is why i said it really is about all areas of our lives - not just the adventurous or big bold things - couch to 5K is awesome as are those classes you took etc
ReplyDeleteThanks Deb. I love taking fun classes - I find they dont' actually teach me much as I don't have time to practice the tips, but they are great fun.
DeleteGirl you have the speed of a Cheetah - 12kms in just over an hour.
ReplyDeleteIt is a great idea Bec. You have an impressive list here.
Thanks Trish. My sister and I ran it together which I think helped our speed. We don't usually run that fast. We were quite impressed with our time (her husband did it in about 58 minutes!)
DeleteAwesome list Bec, it's interesting building up a picture of people we only know through their blogs. Piano, Hair basics, trekking in Thailand, City to Bay....so diverse!
ReplyDeleteYeah these blog topics are really interesting! I haven't played piano in years so probably wouldn't know how now! And the hair thing I still suck at!
DeleteGreat list Bec, you've had some pretty cool experiences and achieved so much :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Kelly
DeleteWow! What a fantastically busy life you've had so far. I'd love to read your reverse bucket list in another 20 years to see what else you've been able to squeeze in!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lisa - it would be interesting to do again in 10 or 20 years.
DeleteRaw chocolate sounds cool! And totally good for I hear? Rest of your list is amazing :)
ReplyDeleteYep the chocolate is awesome! And made from cacao butter and powder so is full of nutrients!
